OPGW Typical Designs of Stranded Stainless Steel Tube
Stainless Steel Tube
Product Description
OPGW power optical cable is an overhead ground wire containing optical fibers, which has multiple functions such as overhead ground wire and optical communicatio. It is mainly used for communication lines of 110kV, 220kV, 500kV, 750kV and newly built overhead high-voltage transmission systems. It can also be used to replace the existing ground wire of old overhead high-voltage transmission systems, increase optical communication lines, conduct short-circuit currents, and provide lightning protection. Special structures can be customized according to user needs.
The typical design of stranded stainless steel tube OPGW(Optical Ground Wire) Cable isthe stainless steel tube stranded by double or three layers of aluminum clad steelwires(ACS) or mix ACS wires and aluminum alloy wires.
Fiber Core: 12/16/24/36/48/96/144
Fiber Type: ITU-T G.655; ITU-T G.652.D
Product Features
• Large cable diameter, capable of designing a large number of fiber optic cores.
• Stable structure and high reliability.
• High tensile strength and short-circuit current capacity, achieving the best balance between mechanical and electrical performance.
• The optimal twisted design allows for obtaining excess length of secondary optical fibers.
• The number of strands can be designed as two or three layers.
• Single wire can be a combination of aluminum clad steel wire and/or aluminum alloy wire and aluminum wire.
